A Civil Liberties Project of Campbell Law
In Solidarity with Occupy Wall Street
The Occupy Wall Street movement to challenge corrupt corporate influence over our political system is inspiring nonviolent protests throughout the United States and Canada. In solidarity, the founding liberal and libertarian attorneys of Campbell Law pledge to support the movement as legal observers for the National Lawyers Guild to deter police repression and support the blossoming of an American Autumn. Please contact us if you have been victimized for nonviolent protest. The following content was obtained from an ACLU of Florida brochure that outlines your constitutional right to protest, what to do when you encounter police, and what to do if you’re arrested. This advice is not intended to deter you from cooperating with law enforcement. For more information, contact the ACLU of Florida, located at 4500 Biscayne Blvd., Suite 340, Miami, FL 33137, by phone 305-576-2337 or by visiting its website at www.aclufl.org.
